Free classes in October will teach businesses the basics of submitting GSA

September 16, 2013 - Washington Procurement Technical Center (PTAC) is hosting four upcoming GSA 101 workshops in October throughout the state to help local businesses grow by contracting with the United States General Service Administration.  These free workshops, intended for established businesses, will provide attendees with information and tips on the basics of pursuing GSA MAS (Multiple Award Schedule) contracts. Attendees will learn:
•    What evaluation criteria must be met to be considered for a contract award
•    How to navigate through the Schedule’s eLibrary
•    The necessary paperwork involved in submitting an acceptable offer for consideration of award

Workshop participants will receive no-cost follow-up assistance from the Washington PTAC team if they decide to pursue a GSA MAS contract.

The PTAC program helps companies find and successfully achieve contracts for work with the local, state and federal governments. With the help of PTAC, Washington State companies have reported winning over $112 million in federal, state and local contracts and subcontracts in contracts since January 2012.
