(KIEV, Ukraine) -- Where in the world is Viktor Yanukovych? Yanukovych, who was ousted by Ukraine's parliament last weekend, has been on the lam as opposition forces continue to set up a new government. His last known whereabouts was the city of Kharkiv but no one has seen Yanukovych in the past few days after being reportedly stopped from traveling to Russia because he didn't have the right documents.
Yanukovych is undoubtedly keeping a low profile because there's a warrant out for his arrest that alleges he's responsible for the "mass killings" of civilians during last week violent demonstrations between pro-government and opposition forces.
In his last public statement, Yanukovych declared he is still president but parliament has already moved on, naming speaker Oleksandr Turchinov as acting president.
Turchinov is an ally of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, who was released last weekend after serving 30 months in detention. She has reportedly agreed to seek treatment in Germany for a back ailment she suffered while in prison.
