(JAKARTA, Indonesia) -- Pageant officials fear violence at Saturday's 63rd Miss World Competition in Indonesia, with some Muslim's calling the event "pornography. The U.S. embassy in Jakarta says it received information that muslim "extremist groups may be planning to disrupt the Miss World potentially through violent means." This isn't the first time a big act has been threatened.
The group is responsible for canceling Lady Gaga's concert, vowing to burn down the venue. The group claimed the singer's clothes and provocative dance moves would disrupt the youth.
Protesters have already hit the streets of Jakarta where the competition was due to take place, holding up banners that read "Reject Miss World that exploits women," and shouting "Allah Akbar," which means God is great.
The winner of the Miss World Competition will be crowned on the Indonesian resort island of Bali.
