On his big day last April, Neil McArdle realized he had forgotten to reserve a spot for his wedding, but rather than disappoint fiancee Amy Williams, the BBC reports McArdle called the police to report a bomb was hidden at St. George's Hall in Liverpool.

Cops rushed to the scene to evacuate the facility -- just 11 days after the deadly Boston bombing -- but even amid the drama, McArdle's reputation seemed to have preceded him within his soon-to-be extended family.  While all were in their wedding best, his sister-in-law-to-be reportedly said, "You probably done the bomb scare yourself."

Sure enough, the authorities traced the call and arrested a "flustered" McArdle.  Despite his sentencing this week, he and Williams are still together.
