In Gates’ memoir, Duty, released in January, he wrote that he once overheard Clinton telling President Obama that her opposition to the 2007 surge had been “political because she was facing him in the Iowa primary.”

Israel, Palestinian Leaders to Meet at Vatican for Peace Prayer

The two leaders will be accompanied by a delegation of religious representatives including Jewish rabbis and Islamic imams. The Sunday meeting between the two Middle Eastern leaders comes after Pope Francis invited them to his Vatican home during his three-day trip to Jerusalem, Jordan and the Palestinian Territories.

South African President Jacob Zuma Hospitalized

British WWII Veteran Returns Home After D-Day Remembrance

After he didn’t return from a walk on Thursday, Jordan’s disappearance was reported to the police by the home, which on Saturday said he is in “sparkling form.”

New Ukrainian President Poroshenko Inaugurated Saturday
