John McCain (R-AZ) and Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) are lending support to those demanding the country become more open to the European Union, after a deal that would have brought closer ties to the West was abruptly shelved. McCain and about 200,000 pro-European Union demonstrators packed into Kiev’s Independence Square on Sunday, as protests entered a fourth week.

Pope Francis to His Conservative Critics: I'm Not a Marxist

In the interview, the pope said that Marxist ideology is wrong, but that he has known many Marxists who are good people and doesn’t feel offended by the label.

Kerry Compares Kim Jong-Un to Saddam Hussein

The Moon Has a New Visitor: China

The lunar probe Chang'e-3 made a soft landing in the Bay of Rainbows, or Sinus Iridum, Saturday night. The six-wheeled rover called Yutu, or Jade Rabbit, was released from the probe Sunday morning, where it will take pictures and collect samples from the moon's surface for three months.
