Kenya Mall Shooting: 68 Killed in 'Senseless Act of Violence'

The death toll from the attack at the Westgate Mall rose from 59 to 68 people as nine more bodies were recovered in the rescue mission, the Kenya Red Cross said in a message on its Twitter account.

Hostages Held, 22 Killed in Nairobi Mall Shooting

The shooting appears to be a terrorist attack. Police remain at the scene, says the Daily Telegraph, and the shooter or shooters are still believed to be inside the mall. Security services say that people were still being held hostage inside the mall.

Pakistan Releases Top Afghan Taliban Prisoner

Hundreds of Kids Blackmailed Into Sex Acts

Over the past two years, at least 424 children have become victims of the blackmail, leading to seven people taking their own lives, according to new research published Friday by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP), a police agency in the United Kingdom.
