Jordan Morgan added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the second-seeded Wolverines (27-8), who will face the winner of Sunday's Mercer-Tennessee game.

"Huge win for us," coach John Beilein said. "These guys believe and they did a great job."

Michigan's 14 made 3-pointers are its most in team history in an NCAA Tournament game.  The seventh-seeded Longhorns outrebounded the Wolverines 41-30, but never recovered after a slow start to the game.

Isaiah Taylor led Texas (24-11) with 22 points.
