(NEW YORK) -- Quarterback Derek Carr, the younger brother of the 1st pick of the 2002 NFL Draft David, was selected by the Oakland Raiders with fourth pick of the second round of this year's draft Friday. The 6-foot-3, 218-pound Carr played four seasons for Fresno State.
Last season Carr completed 68.9 percent of his passes for 5,083 yards, 50 touchdowns and eight interceptions en route to winning the Sammy Baugh award, which is given to the nation's top passer.
Carr joins a Raiders team that over the offseason traded for former Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub, who in 2007 replaced Carr's brother David as the starter in Houston.
