(NEW YORK) -- The Orlando Magic agreed to a four-year, $32 million contract with free-agent forward Channing Frye, according to ESPN.com's Ramona Shelburne. The 31-year-old Frye could have made $6.8 million next season if he accepted his player option with the Phoenix Suns.
Instead Frye opted out, ending a five-year stint with Phoenix. After missing all of the 2012-13 season due to an enlarged heart, Frye played in all 82 games for the Suns in 2013-14, averaging 11.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists while making 37 percent of his 3-point attempts (432).
