Wingels Agrees to New 3-Year Deal with Sharks

The 26-year-old Wingels will earn $7.4 million throughout the deal, according to CSNBayArea.com.

Wingels, a former sixth-round pick of the Sharks in 2008, had a breakout campaign last season for the Sharks, playing in 77 games, scoring 16 goals and racking up 38 points. Wingels also played on the Sharks' second penalty-kill unit last season and led the team with 218 hits.
