(CHICAGO) -- Add Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant to the long list of people who think Derrick Rose will benefit from sitting out all of last season. Durant worked out with the Chicago Bulls point guard during the offseason and says that Rose "looks better" with the start of training camp right around the corner.
"He's been looking great," Durant told Comcast SportsNet Chicago on Tuesday. "It was really good for him that he took the whole year off. "A lot of people criticized him for it and really were upset about him not playing, but it was the best thing for him. I can tell because he looks better."
The Bulls are excited to have Rose back this season. They won 45 games without him and advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals last year, but many view them as championship contenders with a healthy Rose running the show.
Rose and the Bulls open up their regular season on October 29 against the Miami Heat.
