The Bulldogs (3-1, 2-0 SEC) capped off a rigorous opening month with their second win over a top-ten opponent.

"They're just a touch bunch of kids, trying to do what coach says to do," Georgia head coach Mark Richt said.  "Really proud of them, the staff, our fans, everybody.  Love them all, it's awesome."

Georgia lost star running back Todd Gurley to an apparent left ankle injury in the first half.  He did not return to the game.

Zach Mettenberger threw for a career-high 372 passing yards and three scores.  He helped the Tigers take a 41-37 lead on a Jeremy Hill touchdown run with 4:14 remaining.

On a day where neither defense was successful, four minutes was more than enough time for Murray to orchestrate the game-winning touchdown drive.
