Michele Roberts Named New NBPA Chief

After many hours of debating Monday, NBPA executive committee members and team player representatives cast 32 votes in favor of Roberts as the successor to Billy Hunter, who was removed from the position. She needed only 26 votes for election.

ESPN: Blake Griffin Has Small Back Fracture

Griffin, 25, was advised by doctors not to compete and to allow his back to completely heal before the start of the NBA season.

Lions Table Ndamukong Suh Contract Talks

Patriots Snag RB Tyler Gaffney

Maple Leafs Sign Winnik to 1-Year Deal
