Gomes Lifts Sox Past Cardinals to Even World Series

Gomes, who was told he was replacing Shane Victorino (back injury) in the lineup a couple hours before gametime, hit a three-run home run to propel the Red Sox to a 4-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 4 of the World Series Sunday night.


Broncos Score 31 in the Fourth to Roll Past Redskins, 45-21

Peyton Manning threw three interceptions and lost a fumble but also threw four touchdown pass, three in the fourth quarter, to help lead the Broncos to victory.


Brees Blows Saints Past Bills, 35-17

Buffalo took a 10-7 lead when Dan Carpenter connected on a 37-yard field goal with 4:37 remaining in the first half. But Brees proceeded to lead the Saints on back-to-back scoring drives, throwing touchdowns to Kenny Stills and Jimmy Graham to go into halftime with a 21-10 lead.


Dalton Throws 5 TD's as Bengals Decimate Jets

The Jets (4-4) came into the game ranked fourth in total defense, but that didn't stop the Bengals from putting up 402 total yards, including 323 yards through the air.
