Michigan State Wins The Rose Bowl

Cook hit Tony Lippett for a 25-yard score in the fourth quarter that gave the Spartans (13-1) the lead for good.

Maple Leafs Edge Red Wings 3-2 in the Winter Classic

The game was played in front of 105,591 spectators, surpassing the 104,173 who saw Michigan and Michigan State skate in the Big House back in 2010.

Hawks' Center Al Horford Out for the Season with Torn Pectoral

Horford suffered the injury last weekend against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He reached for a pass on defense, and was forced to leave the game.

Seahawks' Percy Harvin Plans to Practice this Week, Play Next Week

Despite his struggles to get onto the field, Harvin plans to practice this week, and hopes to play in the team's first playoff game next weekend. "It will be a great thing for him [if he plays]," Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said.
