Minnesota Timberwolves Head Coach Rick Adelman Retires

The 67-year-old Adelman spent 23 seasons in the NBA as a head coach, leading the Portland Trail Blazers (1988-1994), Golden State Warriors (1995-1997), Sacramento Kings (1999-2006), Houston Rockets (2007-2011), and T-Wolves (2011-2014).

Knicks Fire Head Coach Mike Woodson

Woodson spent the last one-and-half seasons in New York, but fell victim to new team president Phil Jackson, who is looking for his own head coach to move forward with. Woodson led the Knicks to the playoffs last season and an Atlantic Division title, but the team finished 37-45 this year with no playoff berth.

Canadiens Stop Lightning, One Game Away from Series Sweep
