Astros Place Springer on DL

Avalanche Sign O'Reilly to 2-Year Contract

O'Reilly won the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, which is given to the player that best exemplifies gentlemanly conduct, and also led the team with 28 goals last last season.

Chiefs Agree to Contract Extension with Jamaal Charles

Charles did not report to training camp on Wednesday at Missouri Western State University, but he is on his way to camp now that a deal has been reached.


Seahawks Wide Receiver Sidney Rice Retiring at Age 27

ESPN is reporting that Rice is walking away from the game because of a history of concussions.
