Darvish Sharp in Rangers Victory over Rays

Darvish pitched seven innings of scoreless ball allowing seven hits, one walk and striking out six to lead the Texas Rangers to a 3-0 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays Sunday.

Matt Jones Wins the Houston Open

Jones began the playoff with a 42-yard chip-in on the first hole which helped seal the victory.  Along with a trip to the Masters, the Australian earned nearly $1.2 million.


Derek Jeter Climbs to 8th on All-Time Hits List as Yanks Roll

The New York Yankees shortstop gained sole possession of eighth place on baseball's all-time hit list with two hits in the first four innings of Sunday's 6-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.  He now has 3,320 career hits, one ahead of Hall of Famer Paul Molitor.
