highclimbers 6(SHELTON) Olympia defeated Shelton 62-40 in a non-league boys’ basketball matchup at the Highclimbers Mini Dome Wednesday night. Shelton came out strong in the first half, trading leads with the visiting Bears and ending the second period down by only three points, 23-20. Olympia rediscovered its offense in the second half, outscoring the Highclimbers in the third period by 14 points on the way to their ninth season win.

Andrew Quantz led Shelton with 12 points. The high scorer for Olympia was Khalil Matheney with 13 points.

The Shelton boys have a 0-7 Triple-A Narrows League record, and are 0-14 on the season. Olympia is 2-5 in the Four-A Narrows League and 9-6 overall.

Shelton hosts Mount Tahoma Friday night.
