An official celebration marking the Super Bowl Victory will be held Wednesday in downtown Seattle. It will start at 11 a.m. on Fourth Avenue south of Denny Way and will arrive at CenturyLink Field around 1:30 p.m.
The Seahawks and Seattle officials are telling football fans to dress warmly for Wednesday's parade to celebrate the Super Bowl winners. The high temperature for the day is forecast only in the 30s, but forecasters say it will be sunny.
Officials also are urging 12th Man fans to carpool or take transit to reduce congestion.
The parade will feature Seahawks players, coaches, Sea Gals, Blitz and the blue Thunder drum line.

Fans invited to participate in mobile celebration
RENTON, Wash. - The Seahawks will celebrate their first Super Bowl championship with fans on Wednesday, February 5 with a parade through downtown Seattle. The parade will begin at 11 a.m.
WHAT: Mobile celebration and victory parade for Super Bowl XLVIII Champions
WHEN: Wednesday, February 5, from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
WHERE: The parade will begin just south of Seattle Center at Denny Way and travel south down 4th Avenue past Westlake Park and finish at the north entrance of CenturyLink Field.
WHO: Seahawks Players, Head Coach Pete Carroll, Coaching Staff, Seahawks Executives, Sea Gals, Blitz and Blue Thunder drumline
TIMING: The parade begins at 11 a.m.
The media is encouraged to stage from either the west or east side of 4th Avenue and Pine, in designated reserved areas.
TRAFFIC: Seattle Police Department will close 4th Avenue at 10:30 a.m. and will reopen it as soon as possible.
PARKING: There will be limited parking availability at CenturyLink Field. Fans are encouraged to carpool and utilize public transportation.
DRESS: Based on the projected forecast, fans are encouraged to dress appropriately for cold temperatures.
