Highclimbers Basketball: Girls

hcbb(SHELTON) Lincoln defeated Shelton 52-31 in Narrows League girls’ basketball at the Highclimber mini-dome Wednesday night. Lincoln jumped out to a 27-12 lead at halftime and held on to solidify its position in the battle for the four league playoff spots.

Neither team was able to get in the groove with either field goal or free throw shooting. Shelton shot 26 percent from the field, while Lincoln had a 33 percent efficiency rating.

Jordan Leach led Shelton with ten points. The high scorer for Lincoln was Tamia Braggs with 22 points.

The Shelton girls have a 2-10 Narrows League record, and are 3-15 on the season. Lincoln is 7-3 in league and 14-3 overall.

Shelton travels to play Foss on Friday.
