Adams Hits Tying 3 And Stars Top Storm 87-82 In OT

Danielle Adams hit a 3-pointer to tie it in regulation and scored five points in overtime to lift the San Antonio Stars to an 87-82 win over the Seattle Storm on Thursday night. Danielle Robinson scored 20 points, including six free throws in overtime, for San Antonio (6-6). Jia Perkins added 15 points on five 3s in the Stars' second straight win. Sue Bird scored 23 and Camille Little a season-high 20 for Seattle (5-9). Adams' 3 with 6.5 seconds left tied the game at 71-all. Bird hit a 3 to put the Storm up 70-68 with 44.8 seconds left and Nicole Powell hit one of two free throws to make it 71-68 with 18.9 left.
