Arraignment Delayed For Ehlo
The arraignment for former NBA player Craig Ehlo has been delayed to accommodate his entry into a drug treatment facility. Ehlo is facing charges of reckless burning after sheriff's deputies found him outside his home earlier this month next to a pile of his burning clothes. Ehlo had been involved in an altercation with his wife earlier in the evening and was being held down by family members when police and firefighters arrived.
The Spokesman-Review reported defense attorneys have filed paperwork in which Ehlo said he had problems with prescription drugs dating back at least six years. Spokane County Superior Court Judge James Triplet on Wednesday postponed the arraignment until Oct. 2.
