Shelton Highclimber, Robert “Harrison” MacAlevy, a junior at Shelton High School, qualified for state in the 50 free in Shelton’s meet against Tahoma on Thursday. He is the first swimmer to do so before districts in about seven years. His time is the third fastest in Shelton High School history.
MacAlevy is in his third year in the Shelton swim program under Coach Chad Youngquist. The Highclimbers also won the meet.
