Flora Leads Seattle Past Sacramento St, 66-47

Jarell Flora scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, both career highs, to lead Seattle to a 66-47 win over Sacramento State on Sunday night. Flora made 10 of 18 field goals, including 5 of 10 from 3-point range. Isiah Umipig added 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting, including five 3's of his own, and Jack Crook had nine points, 12 rebounds and six assists. Sacramento State made just 17 of 56 shots and was outrebounded 40-28. Seattle slowly pulled away over the first 20 minutes, taking a 30-17 lead into halftime. Sacramento State's Dylan Garrity made a 3-pointer with 10:44 remaining to make it 46-39, but a layup by Flora and back-to-back 3's by Umipig pushed the Seattle lead back to 15 with 7 minutes to play and the Hornets never again threatened. Quinnipiac Holds Off Oregon State 60-52

Zaid Hearst scored 24 points, 20 in the first half, to lead Quinnipiac to a 60-52 win over Oregon State on Sunday. Hearst did not score in the second half until he hit four straight free throws in the final 20 seconds to help hold off Oregon State. Evan Conti had nine points after halftime and finished with 14 points for Quinnipiac. Hearst was 5 of 8 from the field before the break, with three 3-pointers, and hit all seven of his free-throw attempts. Olaf Schaftenaar led Oregon State with 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting, including 4 of 6 from 3-point range. Malcolm Duvivier added 10 points. Oregon State shot 44 percent in the second half, after 35.7 in the first, and got within 53-50 with 2:44 to go. Oregon State Rolls Past Depaul

sports3Victor Robbins scored a career-high 27 points as Oregon State dominated DePaul 90-59 on Thursday night. Olaf Schaftenaar added a career-high 21 points and Gary Payton II had 15 points and five steals for the Beavers (8-2). Jamee Crockett had 14 points for the Blue Demons (6-4). Schaftenaar scored 11 of the Beavers' first 13 points to give Oregon State a 13-6 lead at the 15:47 mark. A Robbins 3-pointer stretched the margin to 42-21 with 3:23 remaining in the half.

Tollefsen, Pinkins Both Score 23 In Dons' 77-40 Win

Mark Tollefsen and Kruize Pinkins both scored 23 points and San Francisco smothered Portland State 77-40 on Thursday night. Tollefsen added 10 rebounds for his first double-double this season with Tim Derksen adding 10 points. The Dons (6-5) shot 48.3 percent, including 10 of 24 3-point attempts (41.7 percent). They had a 44-32 rebounding advantage, made nine steals and took advantage of 14 Vikings turnovers. The Vikings (5-4) were a frigid 20 percent from the floor on 10-of-50 shooting. DaShaun Wiggins bucked the trend, making 4 of 6 3-pointers en route to 18 points. The Vikings were missing two double-figures scorers, Tiegbe Bamba and Bryce White, both injured. The Dons led 46-22 at halftime after shooting 59.3 percent and making 6 of 12 3-point attempts. San Francisco opened the second half with a 10-0 run to go up by 34 points. Idaho Coasts To 86-39 Win Over Lower-Division Walla Walla

Connor Hill scored 19 points, hitting 5 of 7 from 3-point range, to help propel Idaho to an 86-39 win over Walla Walla University on Thursday night. Sekou Wiggs contributed 13 points and dished out five assists. Chad Sherwood and Arkadiy Mkrtychyan added 12 points apiece, and Victor Sanders had 10 for Idaho (5-5), which shot 52.3 percent from the floor and gave coach Don Verlin a program record with 102 wins. The Vandals held Walla Walla, an NAIA team, to just 26.4 percent shooting and enjoyed a 48-24 rebounding advantage. Walla Walla sank the opening bucket, a 3-pointer from Ethan Osias, but quickly fell behind as Idaho responded with an 18-5 run to take control with a lead that was never challenged.
