Oregon Tops UC Santa Barbara 82-78 In OT

Jalil Abdul-Bassitt scored the game's last seven points to rally Oregon to an 82-78 overtime victory over UC Santa Barbara on Monday night. Abdul-Bassit finished with 20 points for the Ducks (9-3), who won their fourth straight. Joseph Young led Oregon with 25 points and Dillon Brooks added 12. Abdul-Bassit tied the score at 78 with a 3-pointer with 2:18 left in overtime and put Oregon ahead with a jumper 50 seconds later. Harvey Hits 8 3s, Lifts E Washington Past Lewis-Clark 87-81

Tyler Harvey hit 8 of 10 3-pointers to set the program mark for career treys and scored 34 points to lead Eastern Washington to an 87-81 win over Lewis-Clark State on Monday. Venky Jois added 13 points for the Eagles (9-4), surpassing 1,000 points for his career. Bogdan Blilznyuk had 13 points off the bench, Ognjen Miljkvic added 11 and Drew Brandon had 11 assists. Jacob Wiley and Brady Bagby had 19 points for the NAIA Warriors (13-3). Eastern never tailed and was up 43-30 at the half behind Harvey's 23 points. The Warriors came back after falling behind by 20 midway through the second half, shooting 54.5 percent in the second half and finishing 13 of 16 from the foul line. Portland State Rips Walla Walla 94-52

DaShaun Wiggins scored 23 points and Portland State ripped NAIA-member Walla Walla University 94-52 on Monday. Wiggins was 8 of 15 from the floor, leading Portland State (6-4) to a 58 percent shooting night. The Vikings were 9 of 21 from beyond the arc. Tim Douglas made four 3-pointers and had 16 points, Gary Winston had 13 and Sebastian Suarez added 11 points. Jordan Spady paced Walla Walla with 22 points while Ethan Osias had 12 and Luke Spady added 10 points and seven rebounds. Walla Walla jumped out 4-0 but that was quickly erased and they never led again. A 16-4 run by Portland State helped them to a 46-29 lead at the break. Portland Beats Division III Lewis & Clark 71-49

Thomas van der Mars scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Portland over Lewis & Clark 71-49 on Monday. Bobby Sharp made 4 of 7 3-point attempts for all 12 of his points while Alec Wintering added 10 for the Pilots (8-3). The Pilots shot 48.9 percent to 28.1 for the Pioneers (4-4) and outrebounded the visitors 42-25. Serg Ovchinnikov made 4 of 7 from the arc in scoring 17 points to lead the Division III Pioneers. Lewis and Clark led 8-5 but never again after Sharp bookended a 9-0 run with a pair of 3-pointers. Gabe Taylor's bucket with 7:40 left in first half put Portland ahead 26-16 and the lead never went under double digits thereafter. The advantage grew to 30 points after an 8-0 run with 10:19 left. Harden's 44 Lead Rockets Over Blazers, 110-95

James Harden scored a season-high 44 points to help the Houston Rockets cruise to a 110-95 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night and snap a two-game skid. The Trail Blazers were without leading scorer and rebounder LaMarcus Aldridge, who missed the game with an upper-respiratory illness, and had their five-game winning streak snapped. Harden had 31 in the first half to help the Rockets erase an early eight-point deficit and take a 20-point halftime lead. The Blazers didn't threaten after that and Harden went to the bench for good with about 4 minutes left and Houston up 107-86.
