Sekou Wiggs added 12 points for the Vandals (3-3), who had lost 11 consecutive games against Washington State (3-4) since a 62-58 victory on Dec. 4, 2002. The Cougars had defeated Idaho in 13 straight home games since losing 56-52 on Dec. 14, 1989.

Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota and Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon are among the five finalists for the Walter Camp player of the year award.
The other finalists are Arizona linebacker Scooby Wright III, TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin and Alabama receiver Amari Cooper.
The Camp award is voted on by Football Bowl Subdivision coaches and sports information directors. The winner will be announced Dec. 11.
Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston won the award last year.

Alex Wintering scored a career-high 27 points to lead Portland to an 83-71 win over rival Portland State on Wednesday night.
The Pilots (6-1), off to their best start since going 6-0 in 1995-96 when they last made the NCAA Tournament, were up 27 when the Vikings (4-2) went on a late 18-2 run to trail by 11 with 3:22 left, forcing Portland starters back into the game.
Thomas van der Mars added 19 points and 14 rebounds for Portland, which had a 44-27 rebounding advantage with its 16 offensive rebounds matching PSU's defensive total.
DeShaun Wiggins and Tieqbe Bamba had 13 each for PSU, which trailed 41-24 at the half. Bryce White and Tim Douglas had 12 apiece.

Gary Payton II had a career-high 24 points and 16 rebounds as Oregon State beat Mississippi Valley State 74-50 on Wednesday night.
Daniel Gomis added 11 points and six rebounds for the Beavers (4-2).
Jordan Washington scored 17 and DeAngelo Priar had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Delta Devils (1-7).
The Beavers used a considerable height advantage to dominate the boards, and outrebounded MVSU 53-36. The Delta Devils' tallest starter was 6-foot-7.
The Beavers jumped ahead 12-7 with 16:21 remaining in the first thanks to 10 quick points by Payton, including two 3-pointers.
Oregon State led 40-28 at the break. The Beavers went on a 22-3 run to close the first half and open the second half, capped by Payton's rebound-dunk.

Joseph Young scored 20 points, Elgin Cook added 19 and Oregon weathered an early dismal 3-point shooting display for a 94-63 victory over Concordia on Wednesday night.
Young misfired on his five 3-point tries but finished 10 of 13 inside the arc to lead the Ducks (5-2) with his fifth game of 20 or more points. Cook, the only Oregon starter to pass up a 3, was especially effective inside going 9 of 10 from the field.
Thomas Pierce led the Cavaliers (8-2), an NAIA team from Portland, with 16 points, and Kory Kirwan added 12 off the bench.
The Ducks made only two of their first 20 3-point attempts and finished 5 of 26 (19.2 percent).
