Tottenham Signs Seattle's Yedlin To 4-Year DealSeattle Sounders and U.S. national team defender DeAndre Yedlin has signed a four-year deal with Tottenham Hotspur but will remain in the United States through the remainder of the MLS season. Both clubs announced the deal on Wednesday. Yedlin spent last weekend in London visiting with Tottenham officials and the sides were able to finalize the deal. Tottenham said Yedlin would join the club ahead of the 2015-16 season. Yedlin burst onto the international scene with his performance for the U.S. at the World Cup. He was immediately linked with clubs throughout Europe, but Tottenham eventually became his destination. Police Clear Marshawn LynchPolice have cleared Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch in an assault and property damage case. The Bellevue Police Department issued a statement late Wednesday night saying Lynch wasn't involved and that the case remained open. The police department expressed appreciation for cooperation from Lynch and the Seahawks. Police initially released a statement Monday mentioning Lynch. Seattle Rookie Marsh To Have MRI After InjurySeattle Seahawks rookie defensive end Cassius Marsh will undergo an MRI after appearing to suffer a knee injury in practice. Marsh was hurt after getting tangled in a pile during Wednesday's practice, the final one before Seattle broke training camp. The Seahawks have a light practice Thursday before Friday night's second preseason game against San Diego. The team did not have any further details. Coach Pete Carroll is expected to talk after Thursday's practice. Marsh was a fourth-round pick out of UCLA and was expected to contribute right away as a pass rusher for the Seahawks.
