Eastern Washington Rallies To Stun Hoosiers 88-86

Drew Brandon scored a career-high 27 points, and Eastern Washington used a late 9-0 run to stun Indiana 88-86 on Monday night. Tyler Harvey had 25 points to help the Eagles (4-1) get their first win against a Big Ten foe and their first win in front of a crowd of 10,000 or more. Eastern Washington is now 1-13 all-time against the Big Ten and 1-20 in front of big crowds. Indiana (4-1) was led by Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell with 27 points and Troy Williams with 19. But the Hoosiers blew a 12 -point second half lead and couldn't close it out after taking a 78-75 lead with 2:12 to play. Instead, Eastern Washington scored nine straight to take control and then closed it out at the free-throw line. Wiggins Scores 32, Leads PSU Over SIUE 90-87, OT

DaShaun Wiggins scored a career-high 32 points and gave Portland State its first overtime lead in in a 90-87 victory over SIU-Edwardsville on Monday night. Wiggins' three-point play with 1:21 left put the Vikings (3-0) ahead for good at 87-84. Tiegbe Bamba extended the lead on 1 of 2 free throws with 29 seconds left. Donivine Stewart scored and drew a foul with 23 seconds left for SIUE (1-3). He missed the free throw, but Keenan Simmons got the offensive rebound and Stewart went back to the line, making 1 of 2 to cut the deficit to one. Tim Douglas made both free throws for PSU with 8 seconds left and Stewart missed a difficult 3-pointer at the buzzer. Douglas had 17 points and Braxton Tucker added 13 points and nine rebounds. Blazers Beat Celtics, Extend Win Streak To 7

LaMarcus Aldridge had 20 points and 14 rebounds, reserve Chris Kaman scored 16 points, and the Portland Trail Blazers extended their winning streak to seven games with a 94-88 victory over the Boston Celtics on Sunday night. Damian Lillard added 12 points and five assists for Portland, which began a brief East swing. Nicolas Batum also had 12 points. Jeff Green and Jared Sullinger had 19 points apiece for Boston, which dropped its fifth in six games. Avery Bradley and Rajon Rondo each scored 13. Rondo added eight assists and six rebounds. Huskies 2Shawn Kemp Jr. scored 18 points and the Washington Huskies used a balanced attack to hold off Pacific for a 76-69 victory in the first game of the Marv Harshman Classic at Key Arena on Sunday night. Kemp made seven of 11 from the floor and all four of his free throws. Nigel Williams-Goss and Andrew Andrews each added 17 points.
