And he might just take the Seattle Seahawks offense along for the ride. Harvin has been unhindered in training camp by the hip injury that limited him to just one regular-season game last year. Harvin said he hasn't felt this good since before his college days at the University of Florida and he's found gears he didn't realize he had. RENTON, Wash. (AP) – August 26, 2014

Raiders QB Matt Schaub Out Again With Sore Elbow

Oakland Raiders quarterback Matt Schaub missed his second straight day of practice with a sore throwing elbow, a problem that has lingered throughout the preseason. Rookie Derek Carr took first-team snaps for a second straight day Monday with Schaub serving as a spectator. Schaub's status for Thursday night's exhibition finale against Seattle remains up in the air but he and coach Dennis Allen say they are confident he will be healthy enough to start the season opener Sept. 7 against the New York Jets. Schaub said the elbow has been "bothersome" but hasn't affected his throwing in the preseason. He is getting rest and rehab this week. ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) – August 26, 2014

Game Week Arrives For Petersen, No. 25 Washingto

n Chris Petersen insists the opener for No. 25 Washington against Hawaii on Saturday carries no greater importance than any other season opener in his coaching career. Except that for the first time as a head coach, Petersen will be leading a team other than Boise State. Petersen, one of the biggest names to change schools during the offseason, said the feeling Saturday when the Huskies begin their season at Aloha Stadium won't be any different than when he was coaching in front of just a few hundred fans. He will be starting his tenure with questions, most importantly at quarterback, where sophomore Jeff Lindquist will get his first collegiate start. Lindquist beat out redshirt freshman Troy Williams with sophomore Cyler Miles suspended for the opener. SEATTLE (AP) – August 26, 2014
